Top 5 LEGO Star Wars Christmas Gifts for 2026 — The Ultimate Gift Guide

Christmas is right around the corner, and if you’ve got a Star Wars fan on your list — or you’re dropping hints for yourself — LEGO Star Wars sets are some of the best gifts you can give. I’ve hand-picked five of the best sets available right now, ranging from a budget-friendly battle pack all the way up to a serious collector’s centerpiece. Whether you’re shopping for a 7-year-old or a 40-year-old who never stopped loving Star Wars, there’s something here for everyone.

These are all sets I’ve personally looked at and genuinely recommend. Let’s get into it.

1. LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon 25th Anniversary (75375) — Best Display Set

The Millennium Falcon is the most iconic ship in all of Star Wars, and this 25th Anniversary edition is one of the best versions LEGO has ever made at this price point. At 921 pieces, it’s a seriously satisfying build that results in a gorgeous display model complete with a custom stand, nameplate, and a special 25th Anniversary R2-D2 hologram brick.

Unlike the massive 7,500-piece UCS Falcon (which will set you back several hundred dollars), this version fits comfortably on a shelf or desk. It’s designed for adults — ages 18+ — and makes an incredible display piece. The detail is impressive for the scale, and the fact that it includes NO stickers (all printed pieces) is a huge win.

• Set number: 75375
• Pieces: 921
• Age: 18+
• Price: $84.99 (regularly goes on sale for $65–70)
• Best for: Adult Star Wars fans, collectors, desk/shelf display
• Build time: 3–5 hours

Why it’s a great gift: It’s recognizable to any Star Wars fan of any age, it looks stunning on display, and the 25th Anniversary edition gives it special collector appeal. This is one of those sets that goes straight from the box to a place of honor on the shelf.

2. LEGO Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer (75394) — Best Big Build

If the Millennium Falcon is the hero ship of Star Wars, the Imperial Star Destroyer is the villain’s calling card. This 1,555-piece set is part of the same 25th Anniversary Starship Collection and is an absolute monster of a build — in the best possible way.

What really sets this set apart is the minifigure lineup. You get seven characters including Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper, an Imperial Navy Trooper, an Imperial Crew Member, an Imperial Gunner, Commander Praji — and the first-ever LEGO minifigure of Cal Kestis from Jedi: Fallen Order. That last one alone makes this set special for collectors.

The build itself includes a command room, break room, armoury, control panels, cargo bay, and the iconic bridge. It’s displayed vertically on a stand, which gives it a dramatic, looming presence — exactly what an Imperial Star Destroyer should have.

• Set number: 75394
• Pieces: 1,555
• Minifigures: 7 (including first-ever Cal Kestis!)
• Age: 10+
• Price: $169.99
• Best for: Serious LEGO Star Wars fans, collectors, intermediate to advanced builders
• Build time: 8–12 hours

Why it’s a great gift: It’s a premium set that feels premium — the kind of gift that makes someone’s jaw drop when they open it. The Cal Kestis minifigure is a huge collector draw, and the Imperial Star Destroyer is one of the most iconic images in all of Star Wars.

3. LEGO Star Wars R2-D2 25th Anniversary (75379) — Best Character Build

R2-D2 is arguably the most beloved character in all of Star Wars, and this 1,050-piece buildable version is a masterpiece of LEGO design. It stands over 12 inches tall, features a rotating head, opening front hatches, a retractable third leg, and a periscope hidden under the dome — all the details you’d want.

As part of the 25th Anniversary lineup, this set also includes a special Darth Malak minifigure — a fan-favorite character from Knights of the Old Republic — plus a buildable display stand with a nameplate. It’s equally at home being played with or displayed on a shelf.

• Set number: 75379
• Pieces: 1,050
• Minifigures: Darth Malak (25th Anniversary exclusive)
• Age: 10+
• Price: $99.99
• Best for: R2-D2 fans, character collectors, display builds
• Build time: 5–7 hours
• Height: 12+ inches when complete

Why it’s a great gift: You don’t have to be a hardcore LEGO fan to appreciate a 12-inch R2-D2 on your desk. It appeals to casual Star Wars fans and serious collectors alike, and the Darth Malak minifigure is a genuine collector’s exclusive.

4. LEGO Star Wars Grogu with Hover Pram (75403) — Best Gift for Mandalorian Fans

If there’s one Star Wars character that has captured hearts across ALL generations since The Mandalorian debuted, it’s Grogu — Baby Yoda, as most of the world still calls him. This 1,048-piece set lets you build a detailed, displayable version of the Child himself, complete with his iconic hover pram and a little blue frog.

Released in January 2025 as one of the headline sets of the year, this is a fresh set that’s readily available. At over 1,000 pieces, it’s a proper, satisfying build that results in a display piece that will make any Mandalorian fan smile every time they look at it.

• Set number: 75403
• Pieces: 1,048
• Age: 10+
• Price: $99.99
• Best for: Mandalorian fans, Grogu fans (everyone!), display builds
• Released: January 2025 — current and easy to find
• Build time: 5–7 hours

Why it’s a great gift: Grogu is the most universally loved Star Wars character of the last decade. This set appeals to kids, adults, casual fans, and hardcore collectors. It’s the safest Star Wars LEGO pick on this list — everyone who gets it will love it.

5. LEGO Star Wars Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack (75372) — Best Budget Pick

Not every gift has to break the bank, and the Clone Trooper & Battle Droid Battle Pack is proof that LEGO Star Wars fun doesn’t require a huge budget. At just $29.99, this 215-piece set packs in an incredible nine minifigures — three Clone Troopers, one Coruscant Guard Trooper, three Super Battle Droids, and two regular Battle Droids — plus a buildable speeder bike.

Nine minifigures in one battle pack is almost unheard of, and the return of the Super Battle Droid after a nine-year absence from LEGO sets made this one of the most talked-about Star Wars sets of 2024. Clone Wars fans went absolutely wild for this one, and for good reason.

• Set number: 75372
• Pieces: 215
• Minifigures: 9 — including returning Super Battle Droids!
• Age: 7+
• Price: $29.99 (regularly on sale for $20–22)
• Best for: Kids, Clone Wars fans, minifigure collectors, stocking stuffers
• Build time: 30–60 minutes

Why it’s a great gift: Nine minifigures for $30 is exceptional value. Whether you’re buying for a kid who just wants to play or an adult who collects Clone Wars figures, this set delivers more than its price tag suggests.

Which One Should You Buy?
